In this personalized live experience of metal engraving, participants will learn under the mentorship of Jagmohan Singh, an artist whose family has been practicing this craft for over 400 years.
Passionate about preserving and sharing this traditional handmade art, Jagmohan Singh ensures that each participant receives personalized attention, making sure that no one misses out on any information or learning opportunities. The workshop is conducted exclusively at his studio, allowing participants to also view the maestro's personal exhibits.
Engraving involves incising a design onto a hard, typically flat surface by cutting grooves into it with a burin. It is one of the oldest and most significant techniques in printmaking.
The art piece created during the workshop can be taken home as a souvenir, along with a certificate to commemorate the experience.
